Food Sovereignty

  • Our food sovereignty program, led by Kessi Watters, focuses on connecting Wabanaki people to ancestral lands and waterways for food and medicines cultivation and harvesting.

Land Return & Relationship

  • Our board and staff work together with land trusts and private land holders to return land to Wabanaki communal holding. Our hybrid conservation and community land trust model embraces the practice of stewardship through relationship, emphasizing the need for Wabanaki people to live on and care take our lands.

Cultural Transmission

  • Our cultural programming aims to bring together Wabanaki communities and knowledge keepers to ensure our traditions and histories are shared from one generation to the next.
